We were the first medical cannabis dispensary to open in Chicago in December 2015. Recognizing that important work has come before us and is happening now within the larger culture of cannabis is a necessary part of living the Dispensary life. We know that we have to look to the past to understand the future of cannabis. Legalization only means that we work harder to achieve understanding and to create our own impact in cannabis.

Every single product we sell at Dispensary 33 is researched, tasted and tested before it reaches our shelves to ensure that growers’ production methodologies are aligned with industry best practices. Strain lineage and lab results are elements that tell a plant’s story. However, in order to fully understand each product, it has to be seen, felt, and smelled.
All products are not created equal and should be treated as such. Each product we carry serves a purpose within a range of medicinal and aesthetic qualities. We strive for the highest quality of that product type on the market and do not settle for less.
Displaying cannabis product is a crucial part of our philosophy and how we show our appreciation of the cannabis plant. Our first commitment to quality and customer service is to display actual cannabis product for our purchasers: something that no other dispensary in Illinois has done. Illinois law strictly states that any open product within the dispensary must be destroyed within a week. We worked with architect Jaime Magaliff to create compliant, custom-designed display orbs to display every product we sell, both in-store and online.
Masks are required inside the dispensary and we have floor stickers to maintain social distancing. We’re continuing to follow CDC and IDPH guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff, patients and customers.
Please preorder ahead of time to make your visit as quick and touch-free as possible.
As of June 22, 2021, medical cannabis patients no longer need to have a designated dispensary. If you have a medical cannabis card, you can come in and shop at Dispensary 33.
Medical cannabis patients can purchase up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis every 14 days.
If this allotment is insufficient, you can request a waiver to increase your allotment to 5 ounces every 14 days. A certifying healthcare professional will need to create a waiver in the State’s online portal to recommend the increase. Once the waiver is created, you will receive an email from the State notifying you that your allotment has been increased.

Just moved to the Lincoln Square area and have had the chance to stop by twice so far. And I have to say both times I was equally happy with the great customer service, menu selection, and efficiency. It was my first time trying the Kushie Carmel's by Revolution and it is definitely a new favorite for taste & potency. Highly recommend this dispensary to all.

I had a great first time experience here. Friendly security and friendly staff. I was kind of disappointed after I Weighed one of the eighths and found out it was 3.3 gm instead of 3.5. But that's a fine it was a really good sale.

This place is bright, fresh, mod and light. Great selection of edibles (my go-to). The prices are somewhat high, but no higher than any other place of this sort, because taxes. That's gonna happen.
COVID protocols in effect. Great staff. Excellent ordering procedure. You might wait in line a little bit, but if you ordered ahead, you'll be in and out in no time.

Everyone's always here extremely nice. Good product. Very safe with Masks and how many people they let in. I recommend preordering as product goes fast.
