Why Did We Start?
Snapdragon Hemp began in 2016 as a small-scale effort to provide effective relief through cannabis, be it pain, insomnia, anxiety, or other issues. Starting with local farmers markets and other events, Snapdragon’s business quickly evolved with the passage of the 2018 Agricultural Farm Bill, also known as the “Farm Bill”. This new law removed hemp from the federal list of controlled substances and allowed our business to grow beyond the local farmers’ market and into our first store!
The Next Steps
The next step was to put those products into the consumer’s hands. Online sales were first. However, it was a very competitive market with so many others trying to get into the business as well. Most of the other companies were filled with multi-level marketing platforms. However, they were selling subpar products at a cost that the average person could not afford. Showing
the value of potent yet still federally-legal cannabis products at a fair price as well as education on each product turned out to be the most important factor in the growing hemp industry.
Where We Are Today
Since starting, we have expanded into 12 brick-and-mortar stores across the Chattanooga area and a diverse online selection of premium goods we can ship nationwide. We especially pride ourselves on our cannabis knowledge, which we use to give our guests a personalized experience every time, and offer customized recommendations that are sure to hit the mark.
Snapdragon doesn’t just focus on CBD products; we offer everything under the cannabis rainbow: federally legal high-THCA flower, concentrates, infused topicals, tinctures, and so much more. We also recently released a new infused beverage line with our proprietary water-soluble Delta-9 THC called RINS9 that hits quickly and effectively with every sip!
